How to install games on N-Gage

. Saturday, February 5, 2011

Since the game's installation files there are several types, then each file type requires different handling. Below I will try to explain it step by step for each file type. Hopefully useful ...:)

1. SIS file (Symbian Installation Files)
For files that are small (about the size smaller than half the remaining phone memory) can be installed immediately after the transfer to the phone. But if the files are large, then how to install it are as follows:
The first way, use the PC Suite. PC Suite can be found on the CD that comes at the time of purchase the phone. If the CD is not already click here to download. Next install the PC Suite on the computer and run it. Connect the computer and cell phone using a data cable or Bluetooth (for QD can only via bluetooth).

Continue if already connected properly, the next step is to install the desired application.
A second way to use UnMakeSIS.
UnMakeSIS is a tool that serves to extract the SIS file.
Run UnMakeSIS computer, then click "open".

Find a SIS file that will be extracted, and then click the "extract files". By default location of the results extracted in the same location as SIS files are browsable earlier. Next live transfer the extracted files to the phone earlier. Examples like the image below:

If while copying a file and then pops up "dialog box" as below:

Then, click the "yes" if the new file size is greater in old files and if otherwise click "no".

2.File BLZ (*. blz)
To install these files required the N-Gage Blizzard Installer v1.0. Install "Blizzard N-gage Installer" on the phone. After the installation is complete the next steps to transfer blz file to the phone with the location "E: \" or external memory. After that run the Blizzard N-gage Installer, select the files to be installed then press install.

3.File Java (*. jar)
Transfer files to the phone. Then Install.

For big-sized games, like Ashen (13MB), Glimmerati (46.5 MB), etc., after extracted using winzip or winrar just all the files are transferred to the phone. Same way as when transferring files extracted results to mobile phones. Hopefully helpful!
